The tv personality isn't necessarily Min Farshaw, but the outfits worn by this fashion historian are very Min!!

I'm reading Crossroads of Twilight right now and for some reason cannot get the image of Melissa Mccarthy as Arymilla out of my head. She has lost quite a bit of weight and fits the plump but pretty really well and can pull off looking vacuous.

I think Alycia Debnam Carey could play a pretty good Egwene. When you see her as Lexa in The 100 she is total badass, but at the beginning of Fear the Walking Dead her character is very naive, so she does both really well.

Lupita Nyong'o is my only Tuon.

I think it'll be interesting to see who they cast for the ones always described as "the most beautiful man/woman".

Berelain and Galad. I don't have anyone off the top of my head, but those two are going to be on my radar. :rofl

Galad? How about Logan Lerman, or Richard Madden? Berelain, maybe Lindsey Morgan or Phoebe Tonkin... or Emilia Clarke?

As much as I love many of the GOT cast for WOT parts I would feel dirty and maybe even a little cheated if they used any of the big characters. I just know non WOT readers watching are gonna think oh its just a copy paste of GOT.

Honestly, I worry if they "dare" make Tuon black, as in the books :\ I mean, an all-powerful BLACK Empress that have people, including the main protagonist, bow to her?

I may just be pessimistic.

I think they would get a lot of fan backlash if they didn't make her black. :look:

My actual worry for casting Tuon is that they would downplay her power and her role in the series, because she is black. :( Then make it seem like that's not why they down-played it.

I hope they don't do that. Tuon would be a really good way to represent black women with the show.

I seriously doubt they'd change her race, I mean they made the human torch and lex luthor black, and Tuon is already black
I will only be disappointed if they don't make her short and they need as actress that can do that innocent yet devious smirk ;)

I can't imagine why they wouldn't case a black woman to play Tuon. I am sure other characters could end up being case as epople of color even if the book character isn't. I mean, is there any reason Berelain couldn't be a beautiful woman of any race? Fans always holler and cry if the person cast as a character doesn't naturally match the eye and hair color of their character, but that's just silly. Those things can be changed, aren't ever the most important aspect of the character, and can be looked over for a person who can do justice to the substance of the character they are being cast to play.
