Description
She is slender and barely taller than Mat's shoulder (about 5'4"). She has deep brown eyes and she wears her long dark hair in a braid, which is cut short much later in the series.

Leigh Butler at Tor.com suggested Emma Stone:

Now granted, at 27 Emma Stone is probably too old for the role as well, but I decided I don’t care, because I frickin’ adore Emma Stone, and I seriously could not come up with anyone else who I felt could remotely play Nynaeve with anything like both the conviction and, most importantly, humor her character deserves. (I have always felt that Nynaeve needs to be played by an actress with strong comedic talents; otherwise it would be far too easy to render her hopelessly and unfairly unlikeable.) If it comes down to picking some young thing who could never hope to do Nynaeve justice, or picking Emma Stone, well, I know which one I’d go with. NO CONTEST.

Elgee at Dragonmount put forth Zoey Francis Thompson Deutch, who's actually 23 years old and is 5'4", so that's pretty spot-on. Also, from this shot of her, she looks pretty Nynaeve-y.

So, unlimited budget, anyone in the world. Who would you pick to do Nynaeve justice?

My friend Emily! Honestly I spent most of the books wanting to call Nynaeve Emily because they are the same person! Sadly she is now too old so I can see Zoey, she's gotta practice sniffing though

Also, Emma Stone is a no. I love her but she's not self possessed enough, I don't know how to explaine it, she's just not Nynaeve. And the age, with Nynaeve more than anyone else needs to be close too.

I agree, it's hard in Hollywood to find that though I'm hoping for a lot of unknowns in the main cast, maybe someone known for Thom but other than that I like what they did with game of thrones
