I was also thinking there’s also a style of dress that I swear looks like Jedi robes. Especially if you look at the Green, but there’s also a White and a Brown.

Yes, there's definitely a Jedi-with-pointy shoulders vibe to those three. A lot of the costumes seem to emphasize strong shoulder lines in different ways.

I'm going to call these "Tairens, Probably" because of the tattoos:

Borderlanders? More specifically Shienarans. Do the design right, and all or most of it can be repurposed for your Jedi costume.

Not sure, open to comments. I can't pull up the "behind the scenes" stuff until I got home, although I do remember that it exists now.

I'm decently certain these are all Cairhienen due to the similarities to Moiraine's dress in the shoulder pads and waistline puckers/puffs/whatever those are. Oh and the tie-dyed fabric.

Lol I should have just kept reading. This is a really nice breakdown, it definitely seems like they dress pretty strictly according to region.

I've been going through some more references today. Looking at the "cultures influences vision board", I see the tie dye for Cairhien and the ones that I guessed were Shienar are modeled pretty closely from an image on the board. The Brown Tairen Sitter, in addition to the tattoos in the same style as Siuan, has a paisley print, and there's a paisley swatch on the culture board for Tear, so I'm gonna keep that assertion as well. Andor is "Western - blend of all cultures" (see below) so I'll keep that guess as well, although it could be the Yellow/Gray/(Green?) combo instead.

I also compiled the Sitters that aren't already divided above.

I also looked at the map with accompanying key. Here are the pictures if anyone else wants to look.

• Arafel and Shienar, indigo | Asia - East = India, West = Japan (backwards? Shienar is East and Arafel is West)
  
• Andor, light blue | Western - Blend of ALL cultures
• Arad Doman and/or Saldea (can't tell if those are supposed to be separate colors but they're also adjacent on the map) | Middle East
• Tarabon, darker pink | Persia
• Ghealdan, orange | Greece/Persia
• Amadicia, light orange | "Whitecoat Land"
  
• Altara, yellow | Greece-Mykonos
• Tear, teal (I think, it's partly off the map) | Spain-Cambodia
• Illian OR Area below Shienar, above/East of Cairhien OR Illian (the colors are close) | Italy
• Murandy, blue | Turkish
• Cairhien, orange-pink | French/Chinese
• Toman Head, lighter pink | Romania/Croatia

True, article-style compilations of nations or otherwise would be a good idea. Something Thirteenth-Depository style, only purely descriptive without going into the historical influences. Unless someone more knowledgeable wants to include that part.

Honestly I was hoping to talk to one of our librarians about that. I feel like it needs to be searchable in some way, but I don't know if that's possible. I need to know the things I don't know so I can ask questions to learn the other things I don't know. Make sense?

Yeah basically this is what Media Wiki offers. The articles can be devided by country and in each article the table can be made to be sorted by book number. Or it could be the other way around, articles devided by book number and the table is sortable by country/origin.

I really like the diversity of fabrics and styles... but what I love is the diversity in body shapes. You've got tall ones, thin ones, short ones, large ones... you name it, you can likely find it. It is oh so refreshing to know that if I wanted to replicate on of these looks I absolutely could even though I'm a tall large woman.

Oops, sorry I haven't responded to this. I am not aware of limitations, we do have pretty long tables in some of our pages. Though I am not sure how long the catalog would become if we have all the book references into one table. I suppose I can look into it.

Yeah, I do think that if we create the catalog for the books, we could create it for the show too. But I don't want to mix them together (rather, separate the pages) if that's ok with you
