That is SO TRUE Arinna. I think the only thing it really serves as the catalyst for is , which is admittedly a big deal, but I feel like something else could just as easily trigger that anyway.

Personally I think it makes sense to end the Shaido arc after and cut out the entirety of Faile's captivity. It goes on too long and doesn't move the plot enough.
