I didn't notice the clean blade. I was focused on Mat's face and looking for signs of the corruption and of blood splatter. It would have been a terrible change to have Mat murdering people for no reason, IMO

My initial reaction to Logain seeing Nynaeve channel was that he saw saidar, but now that I'm reminded he has the Talent to see ta'veren I can see that being the case. We know Nynaeve isn't one in the books... but since the Three lost their ta'veren nature after Tarmon Gaidon, perhaps this was...
