Check the thread in the General forum :P
The book stores in Israel made a mistake and started selling the books as soon as they arrived in stock. The mistake, I'm told, had since been corrected (thanx I persume mainly to my thread, which made said mistake into public knowledge), but a few of us...
Well, I already know which theories turned out right and which wrong :P
I just finished the book last night. Had to settle for two and a half hours of sleep to get it, but it was semi-worth it :P
I hardly researched it at all. I read no interviews with Jordan or Sanderson nor with anyone else. My only knowledge comes from the books themselves :P
Still, I think I did a pretty good job with it, all things considered :P
Jell - I disagree. The creator is like today's god. He's something people believe in, but you won't be able to point at something specific and say "that's god's work." With the DO there is a place, a presence, a power. He TALKS to people, people can feel him, can see his direct influence. The...
Balance? Really?
The creator has all but forsaken men. I find the very comparison strange. The creator is an unknown entity. The DO is REAL. It can be felt, it has power that it gives directly. The creator is more of a universal law thingy.
Interesting.
It's true that the Shadow and Fain's evil worked the same way. In the GWB it was described that the shadow wascreeping into the world slowly, encouraging and hightening people's bad emotions. In TEotW it was described that Mordeth arrived at Shadar Logoth and started doing the same...
Interesting... Fain vs. SH huh?
While that idea makes sense, I hope my theory will be confirmed - Fain will be used to kill the DO somehow. The evil of Shadar Logoth is the only confirmed thing we have that is equal to the shadow. That was seen both by Rand's wounds and the cleansing of Saidin...
I must agree with Jell here. At most, Demandred will replace Moridin as Naeblis, but I doubt the final battle will be between the three of them.
My money is still on my theory of Fain being used somehow, which means IF a 3-way final confrontation will happen, it'll be Rand, Moridin and Fain.
I...
I remember that too Satara. Though honestly, with the amount of Balefire used in the power wars before they realized what it does, I doubt it never happened before. It's possible it happened, but just wasn't recorded, or that the recording were lost in the wars. That's just speculation of...
We've already seen what's under the mask, if I remember correctly. A burned face. As I recall it kept healing more and more, 'till it was almost or completely healed in TDR and then Rand kills him.
Indeed. We know of at least two threads like that, though not enemies, and those are Brigitte and Cain. I think she even explained it once, their connection.
