I am binge listening to the series on Audible and the voice actors give everyone accents. It's kinda cool - hearing how a voice actor conveys the Seanchan slurred way of talking, especially Kate Readings version, is beyond what I was thinking of in my head when I read the books.

I can run with this. I agree with Perrin too, but the guy can put on some weight - right? He's still pretty young and maybe he's hitting the protein shakes :D.

I've mentioned it several times and it's getting a bit tiring - I read them as minority (I guess we're talking US minorities) characters (Native American or Lantix). I never thought of Egwene, Mat, Perrin or any of the other EFers as white. Some folks in this thread just seem openly hostile to...

I can agree with this. I can be a bit of a purist and found some of the responses overly aggressive. I do understand some people might not agree. I cant wait to see the tv show. They've got the budget, the cast, and the right directors and writers in place to create a really good show.

The Seanchan were corrupted by the Shadow, I'm not sure they're scum. I don't like Tuon's defense of collaring channelers, but this has been their custom for (as far as we know) thousands of years. I think with more interaction with channelers on an even playing field, we've seen some of them...

I would love to read a prequel by BS. I think he would have enough notes and materials from the existing series to do a fantastic job. I'd love to see the Chosens transition (for some) from light to dark. The Age of Legends from what we've read already in the books, although only in snippets...

But after thousands of years or even hundreds of years of interbreeding or breeding with only a few local villages, they would become homogenous again. The character's traits are described in the books. Egwene is described as getting almost as dark as the sun darken (Tanned) Aiel in her time...

But they're not a melting pot. They talk a lot about how far away it is from everywhere and no one leaves the area much further than the other towns in the Two Rivers. It's was a big story that Rands mother was an outlander and he is made fun of for his eye color being different than everyone...
